Shahara provides small and mid-sized companies with legal and business strategies including entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, investor packages and contracts. She has experience with product development, bringing products from mere concept to a fully developed and manufactured brand. Shahara founded The CEO Effect, LLC to work with small business owners who want to position themselves to accelerate growth. Patrina Pelton-Smith, J.D. is a Non-Profit Consultant with 17 years of experience. Patrina is the Principal Consultant with Trinity Consulting Services and The EDeffect. She provides non-profit organizations with sound, but practical guidance on issues ranging from formation to foundation, including strategic planning, administration, grant writing, and fundraising. Her diverse non-profit career began when she volunteered for the Lubbock Rape Crisis Center, expanding through her employment with various organizations including Children’s Protective Services, Bay Area Turning Point, Inc., and New Horizon Family Center. Serving in entry level positions to executive leadership, her diverse experience gives her a broad understanding of the needs of non-profits and the clients they serve. Patrina earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration from Prairie View A&M University. She also earned a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University School of Law. She continues to augment her non-profit skills by attending non-profit management seminars.
